Cause of issue

The scooter is a 48v electric scooter with an 800w motor, using 4 x 12v 20a lead acid batteries in series, all batteries are putting out 13.18v meaning they are fully charged, the scooter has 3 speed settings, and an led display screen, the scooter cuts out after 30 seconds of use and doesn't switch between the 3 speed settings, I believe it is a wiring issue.
